About the department
The Data Engineering department is responsible for the full-stack design and development of the company's central data & ML services and business platforms. The department is responsible for the overall projects, design, architecture, and development of huge scale and very challenging cloud-based Big Data, machine learning, and business applicative platforms for ensuring excellence in the performance of business aspects including games & product design, marketing, retention, monetization, etc. Department solutions support the optimization of the company's overall business performance. We are looking for senior system analyst who is ready to make the jump to the product management world
Responsibilities
Carrying out design, modification, and implementation of games data and the Big Data system within the company: write detailed designs, instruct the developers and UAT
Translate business requirements to detailed technical designs across all layers: DB modeling, processes, environments, and reporting
Work closely with the business owners, product managers, and management to understand and prioritize needs and requirements
Investigate application issues and user-driven problems
Assist in establishing standards, best practice models, and queries for user and system documentation
Work with other teams to investigate complex issues, identify, and implement solutions to it
What we expect
At least 3-5 years of experience as a System analyst/Data analyst/BI developer or other technical role related to data-Must
Experience, passion, and interest in business intelligence, dashboards, reports, data modeling, data warehouses, data Integration, and Big-Data technologies – must.
Strong project management and organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Desired
experience in writing specification documents: PRDs, high level and detailed design including functional and non-functional requirements - an advantage
Strong databases experience including proficiency in SQL/ETL development - an advantage
Experience in the gaming industry - an advantage
Experience with agile development methodologies – writing user stories, managing sprint planning - an advantage
