Job Description


As a Payments Domain Analyst you will help define and deliver solutions that meet business objectives, and will serve as a facilitator between the business and IT in understanding the business's needs.

We are looking for a Payments Analyst to join our Agile Scrum team and assist in the development and implementation of payment solutions for the various Wehkamp Retail Group labels. You will be responsible for understanding the business requirements related to payment processing and translating them into specifications for the development team. You will also be responsible for interacting with external payment providers, business departments and aligning teams to ensure successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the business requirements related to payment processing and translate them into specifications with acceptance criteria for the development team;
  • Interact with external payment providers and maintain relationships with them;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product and engineering, to ensure successful implementation of payment solutions;
  • Document payment-related processes, workflows, and policies to ensure consistent implementation across the organization;
  • Work with the Product Owner on the prioritization of the product backlog, roadmap planning and follow up on next steps;
  • Work with the Business to define acceptance criteria and test plans to ensure quality assurance of payment-related features;
  • Monitor payment-related metrics and perform data analysis to identify areas for improvement;
  • Stay up-to-date with payment industry trends and technologies and assess their potential impact on our payment solutions.

Qualifications


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field;
  • 3+ years of experience in payments, financial services, or related industries;
  • Strong understanding of payment processing workflows, including authorization, settlement, and reconciliation;
  • Experience with payment gateways, merchant accounts, and payment processors;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve payment-related issues;
  • Consistently apply Agile processes and principles for effective delivery;
  • Knowledge of Jira as a Product Backlog tool is a plus.
