Your role:A new opportunity created as Manager, GDS Central Europe. We are looking for an individual to fulfill this newly created position reporting directly to the Senior Director GDS, EMEA.
Your responsibilities:
- Serve as the delivery executive-lead on UKG engagements by providing oversight to the consulting team and maintaining executive relationships with the project sponsor
- Provide support to the Central Europe Services Director
- Directly assist in Sales activities as required
- Drive consistency and repeatability of project delivery across the Practice providing support to the project Management team as required
- Maintain a high-level of customer satisfaction including managing customer escalations as required
- Accurately forecast project staffing needs across the team and work closely with the Resource Manager and Practice Director to staff projects while maximising overall staff utilisation
- Directly manage your team of consultants and Partner consultants, inspire them to achieve their best, and provide on-going career development/mentoring
- Assist in hiring and interviewing both direct and partner new hires as necessary. Be responsible for managing the onboarding of those hires for which you are responsible and ongoing coaching and mentoring
- Be responsible for the performance of the allocated team and completion/delivery of Annual Performance and Salary Reviews
- Identify and implement key improvement initiatives that result in efficiencies and innovations that benefit external and internal stakeholders
- Responsible for the performance of the team; setting priorities, providing coaching for direct reports to meet deadlines, grow skills and resolve problems
- Project Sponsorship, acts as a trusted advisor to customers; point of contact for escalations
Qualifications
- Ideally a Bachelor degree in relevant field although relevant job experience and appropriate training will be considered
- 5 years Workforce Management or Human Resource related software experience and ideally have previously managerial, supervisory or team lead experience.
- Ambitious experienced professional services professional with proven customer-facing skills, strong leadership potential and consulting skills as well as enterprise software experience
- Fluent in both German (business fluent) and English language as the team you will manage is largely German as are the majority of the customers
- Understanding of professional services operations, including performance benchmarks/levers, resource deployment, staff development, and partner management
- Business-minded leader with the ability to understand technical situations and have an executive-level presence and credibility with customers
- Demonstrated experience in people/team management and communication skills
- Knowledge of the Workforce Management and/or HR Service Delivery software and processes
- Ability to travel as needed
